The candidate should have a good experience in the field of financial accounting, particularly in General Ledger, Cash & Bank.

At least 1 year experience working with a US Finance process either in an offshore environment or otherwise.

The role is expected to be responsible for the service delivered by a team of officers (led by Team Leads for each stream) to the US Finance Team.

This role covers three sub teams - General Ledger Accounting / Reporting (create & post journals, review and optimize the use of the GL module, generate reports), Cash Management & Bank Reconciliations, System Administration (set up new account codes, maintain existing codes).

The effectiveness of the role will be measured by the team’s performance, morale and from customer feedback.

Extended exposure and strong working knowledge of Oracle 11i Financials.

Willingness to work in night shifts.

Should be a team player and a good people manager.

Good planning skills to manage workload.

Chartered Accountant (ACA).

Good command of English both oral and written.

Strong MS office skills (MS Excel & Word in particular).
