Perform coding for Diagnoses,Adverse Events, Concomitant Medications and other study specific areas (Surgeries, Micro-organisms) in order to match reported verbatims reported on Case Report Forms (CRF) in global Vaccines Development clinical trials, Phases I to IV, to preferred terms in the related coding glossary.
Assist in the Clinical Data Management (CDM) activities for several protocols and CDM projects. In particular:
Review and Code clinical verbatims to ensure data are medically consistent within a coding glossary
Code clinical data (Adverse Events, Concomitant medications, Medical history/Diagnoses, Surgeries, Micro-organisms) with coding dictionaries (MedDRA, ICD-9, WHO-Drug)
Review coding consistency reports and generate report listings of mappings for medical review. Generate queries to project teams to resolve problematic verbatims
Update coding database per coding updates
