Java-Team Lead for Financial Software Systems
Financial Software Systems Pvt Ltd, Chennai 5 - 7 Yrs1. To manage the designated project through all relevant stages of the systems lifecycle from project initiation through to project closure and review
2. Working with solution team/client, development Team Leaders to plan, monitor and track progress of the development team effort
3. Develop an understanding of the business and the enterprise support systems provided. Use this knowledge to work with the business analysts in understanding business requirements and defining the scope of change requests
4. Represent Information Systems responsibility for imparting project progress, the status of open actions and the register of current issues/risks
5. Managing multiple online & offline projects at any one time, effective resource planning, technical leadership and management will determine your success in this role. There is also huge potential for you to drive through improvements
6. Reporting to the management and involving resource/project planning. Training & Induction to the new / junior staff
7. Responsibilities to close the projects and monitor the ongoing support to the clients
8. Experience in onsite-offshore delivery model
Job Description
1.Has excellent Project Management skills in Planning, Estimation, Costing, Staffing, Analysis, and Bid-management. PMI Certification preferred
2. Has excellent understanding of Product and Process Quality for software services organizations
3. Is technically sound on Java/J2EE, and understands diverse Technology platforms
4. Has an understanding of Banking domains – Cards and the trends
5. Should have handled Onsite/Offshore communication
6. Should be familiar with various Delivery Models and Project methodologies & processes, Experience on the RUP Process is a bonus.
7. Requirement interpretation and Documentation skills.
