The Technology Demo Services provides hosted demos of Oracle Database, Applications Server, Collaboration Suite, and Tools products to Oracle Sales Consultants to show potential customers.
Oracle is looking for developers who will be responsible for developing TDS demos Oracle Database products.
Qualifications:
Engineering or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field(Required)
1 to 5 years of DBA or Database applications development experience(Required)
Strong knowledge of database design/ administration(Required)
Good understanding of Application Server and Database components(Desired)
Linux or Unix system experience(Desired)
Knowledge of database applications and implementations(Added Advantage)
Knowledge of Security, Identity Management and frameworks like SSO, JAZN, LDAP(Added Advantage)
Web server Administration experience(Added Advantage)
Responsibilities:
Develop demos to demonstrate the key features of Oracle Enterprise Manager products.
Work with the Product Management to come up with Demo Designs and develop the demos while working as a team with other developers
Ensure demos are robust, high performance, and reliable.
Work closely and coordinate plans with other TDS developers at Oracle in the US.
Deploy the demos on TDS systems.
Maintain and administer demo systems and applications to ensure a high level of availability.
Provide backup support to the TDS Worldwide Support group, located in California, the UK, and India, in case they have a problem with a demo; Assist with the support of escalated issues.
As part of a global team, requires attendance in some meetings after hours.
