The job profile of these Partner Account Managers (PAMs) is as under :

To work with the IBM SWG channel partners and the larger ISV ecosystem in achieving the given revenue objectives for the branch.

To develop and drive the partner community for working towards IBM SWG business.

To engage with the end customers to `seed` the IBM SWG technology and help the partners progress and close the deals.

To guide partners on Bid management, POC, pricing etc and other IBM sales processes.

To work with the key influencers in the market e.g. govt agencies, consultants, application vendors, distributors etc.

To ensure proliferation of IBM SWG brands and a balanced growth of IBM portfolio across market segments.

To work with the inside sales team (tele reps), channel teams, technical architects and other IBM teams to increase IBM SWG market share.

To support and drive the marketing initiatives towards increasing effectiveness in generating revenue.

To win market share from competition and ensure IBM`s active participation in SME space.
