Perform a wide range of activities on Symantec Consulting Services engagements including technical market research, technical requirements analysis, solution implementation, and testing.
Participate as a member of the team engaged in implementing technology solutions. Assist higher level Solution Specialists, Consultants, and Architects, as needed. Demonstrate knowledge in one or more Symantec Data Availability product areas. Identify and resolve engagement issues. Escalate if appropriate.
Windows/Unix system admin knowledge (NFS,Samba, Active Directory, backup)
System Management tool experience (Tivoli, Unicenter, BMC etc.)
Desktop management/Software distribution experience (SMS, Lanworks etc)
Network management experience a plus ( e.g. Cisco/IOS)
