Siemens Information Systems Ltd, Mumbai 4 - 9 YrsThe incumbent has to ensure integrity of financial reporting through planning, forecasting, monitoring and controlling business performance of IS IN cement and ensure compliance to the statutory / corporate policies in order to ensure smooth execution of orders
"Integrity in Financial Reporting and adherance to Compliance guidelines:
This is a must function and this function needs to be performed in order to ensure that the financial reporting is true and correct, business and process controls are effective and are in line with the business requirement and compliance is above business needs"
"Business Planning & Continous Review:
Along with the Unit Sector Manager , develop annual Business Plan and rolling forecasts with respect to business volume, EBIT, EBIT Asset developments, overheads and resources. As a part of the Planning and Review process, also evaluate Risk and Opportunities that are developing in the market place. Monitor the targets with periodic reviews, initiate course corrections, IN ORDER TO meet and exceed the planned business targets and objectives of the Unit Sector / Region / All India Sector. The development of the business situation to be regularly communicated to all the employees of the Sector Unit "
"Project & Contract Management:
Along with the Unit Sector Manager periodically review the progress of all projects of the Unit Sector with respect to cost and schedules, evaluate risk and opportunities, guide claim management, assist and monitor the commercial aspects of all Projects in the assigned Unit Sector to comply with statutory / contractual obligations and PMG including cost control, profitability, ensuring proper documentation and timely realizations of payments. Assist, support and guide execution teams with various alternatives for cost reductions to increase profitability of the Unit Sector / All India Sector."
"Ebit Asset management:
Regularly monitor and improve the development of the various elements of the Net Capital employed viz. Inventories, Receivables, Customer Advance Payments, Excess Billing, Provisions, Advance to Suppliers, payables, fixed assets etc. And initiate actions for optimizing the EBIT Assets requirement for the Unit Sector business/ Region IN ORDER TO improve the liquidity and EVA of the organization. Continuously incorporate the improvements achieved into the acquisition process so as to ensure a sustainable improvement in the Net Capital Employed of the Unit Sector in Region/ Division / All India Sector"
"Housekeeping :
To initiate compliance with checklist drawn up with PM@siemens for orders in assigned unit sectors and take proactive actions with requisite documents,,co-ordinate with group leader /unit sector manager in order to improve the quality of the projects."
"Acquisition Support:
Evaluate commercial and financial aspects of a tender ,formulate & particpate in commercial terms and conditions,provide input on risk indentification and coverage in order to safeguard the interest of the unit sector region"
"Controlling & Risk Management:
Set & monitor systems that facilitates the availability of accurate information that reflects :true & fair"" financial position of the business at all times ,exercise checks when required,in order to facilitate quality decision making process & safeguard the intertest of the unit sector/region/division & that of the company."
"Statutory compliance:
Guide team members on compliance of various statutory provisions in respect of sales tax excise customs,income tax ,export import policies,RBI rules ,DGFT & audit requirements in order to ensure adherence to laws"
"Claim & Change Management:
To support preparation lodging and realization of claims in order to maintain improve the profitability of each project in the unit sector region."
"People Management:
Assist in recuriting people indentifiy the training needs are addressed ,review & support performance recommend rewards plan career development,mentor team members ,regularly conduct employee dialogues in order to support, built & maintain high performance teams."
