Oracle is looking for a QA Engineer with development experience who will be responsible for TDS hosted demo testing, test automation, and quality as well contributing to demo development as required.
Qualification:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field(Required).
Experience of testing software or programming
Basic programming skills in Java or C# or C/C++, programming with QTP or similar test tool preferred.
Must be familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems. Shell scripting, Perl, or some other scripting language knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of database and application server, Oracle technologies preferred.
Problem solving skills, strong orientation to detail, strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
Develop test cases and test plans.
Work within the team to develop, automate, and execute functional test plans for hosted demo systems for Oracle products (Database, Application Servers,Collaboration Suite and Tools).
Document test strategies, report, diagnose, and verify fixes.
Manual and automated testing of the end user system interface.
Install and maintain testing environments (including databases) and develop, execute, debug and fix automated test suites.
Contribute to areas of need within the TDS team (Support, Development, Operations) as needed.
