Candidate will be responsible to work with the Senior Technical Staff & Architect to understand the system architecture.
Design and implement key components of the Mobility Service Management software.
Create core Java classes to run within BEA Weblogic application servers/frameworks.
Design and implement servlet and Struts application layers to support web applications and WSDL services.
Create and support code to manage the data object layer and interactions with the JDBC database interface.
Provide unit testing and support of developed applications.
Desired Profile
Should have software design and development experience, with a minimum 3+ years of server-side Java (J2EE) development.
Recent experience in designing and implementing highly available components as part of complex Internet-based client/server systems in J2EE environment.
Solid knowledge of web servers, BEA Weblogic a plus.
Good understanding of web infrastructure implementation tools such as Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic or JBOSS.
Experience in distributed computing protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, and Web Services) or network management protocols (SNMP, NMS/EMS) is a plus.
Knowledge of wireless technologies (SMS, CDMA, GSM/GPRS, WCDMA, SS7) is a plus.
