The Senior Software engineer role is to create and maintain enterprise software applications used across the organization.
They are typically web applications created using various Microsoft technologies. A penchant for new developments in the industry is a must.
Good interpersonal skills are required for effective communication with the Business and Development teams.
Desired Profile:
Strong experience on .NET 1.1, 2.0,3.0 or 3.5), ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, Windows Services, MSMQ, XML, UML, VSS/TFS(Team Foundation Server)
Hands experience on SQL Server.
Candidate should have strong programming skills (hands on coding) in .NET preferably using C#. He/She should have an in-depth understanding of the .NET Framework and object oriented concepts.(Would prefer hands on)
Working knowledge on AJAX & BizTalk Server 2004 or BizTalk Server 2006, Sharepoint, WCF, WPF, silverlight would be an added advantage.
Understanding the business requirements, and performing development activities, which involves:-
a. Writing of unit test cases.
b. Ability to code in .NET
Exposure to UML concepts is desired.
Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to conceptualize, document and present creative solutions.
