Software engineer to assist in the development of HR/Payroll solutions and their integration with Kronos` existing time and attendance product suite. Responsibilities include working with product owner, QA and support engineers to set priorities, decipher customer stories, design and develop high quality software solutions and deliver automated tests, all in a timely manner
The ideal candidate will possess well-rounded web development skills for building object oriented enterprise applications
The ability to quickly come up to speed on HR/Payroll domain knowledge would be a plus
Work with Technical Leads and other developers to design and implement web components, business logic and database scripts to meet user requirements
Implement solutions using agile scrum methodology, tightly integrated in a web (.NET and Java) enterprise environment
Work with other developers to produce a full set of new features and expand framework capabilities
Collaborate with fellow engineers on the development and maintenance of the solution
Software development experience
Software development experience with C# or Java
Experience in developing commercial web-based enterprise applications with .NET and/or J2EE
Experience of SQL and/or T-SQL with SQL Server
Experience with JavaScript and DHTML
Working knowledge of test driven development (TDD)
Good problem solving skills
