NEW DELHI: India`s third-biggest IT company by revenue Infosys Technologies sees an improvement in consumer demand even as the company remains cautious on client spending, reported WSJ.
During an Oppenheimer analysts` call, the company`s head of banking and capital markets North America, Shaji Farooq, said that things are not as bad as they were. He, however, added that he does not see any explicit pickup in IT spending.
According to the official of the company`s second-largest software exporter by sales, Infosys needs to cautiously watch for three to six months before taking a judgment on where exactly it is going.
During the same call, the company`s COO SD Shibulal said that Infosys continues to experience pricing pressure, even as it completed a large part of pricing renegotiations.
