Leeds Equity Partners acquires Talisma CRM business
Bangalore: Talisma, a Bangalore-based provider of customer relationship management (CRM) software solutions announced that its CRM business has been taken over by Campus Management, a portfolio company of Leeds Equity Partners, LLC. Leeds provided Campus Management with funding to acquire the Talisma CRM software product, and Talisma Higher Education, a business unit based in Bellevue, from Texas based nGenera. Talisma India along with its 150 employees will now move to Campus Management�s fold, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of the later in the Asia Pacific region.
The market estimates the acquisition of around 140 crore though none of the companies have disclosed any amount. Under the agreement, managers and employees of Talisma associated with the Talisma CRM product suite will be joining Camp
us Management. Talisma CRM is relationship management software for online campaigns, customer service, and other sales, support and call center operations that manage communications across multiple channels such as email, telephone, SMS, and online chat.
Talisma will also continue serving the Asia-Pacific market and other areas in Europe, including industries such as banking and financial services, education, manufacturing, recruitment and staffing, telecom and media, and travel and leisure. Organizations using Talisma CRM software include Epson India, ICICI Bank, INSEAD, Sony (India and Singapore), Yatra, Larsen and Toubro, Hindustan Unilever, Ma Foi Management Consultants, Bajaj Capital, Sutherland, and Club Mahindra.
Under the arrangement, Talisma will continue to develop, sell and support Talisma CRM, and re-sell and support Talisma`s knowledgebase software. nGenera has acquired and is re-branding the Talisma Customer Interaction Management (CIM) software under the nGenera name. In effect, customers using Talisma CRM software will now be served by Campus Management, while nGenera continues to serve and expand its CIM line of business.
