Micro Focus partners with L&T Infotech
Bangalore: Micro Focus, a provider of enterprise application management and modernization solutions, partnered with L&T Infotech to set up a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Mumbai. CoE will help in addressing new lines of business around application modernization and migration and enhance skill development around Micro Focus products. The CoE will use the Micro Focus modernization and migration platform suite of products to manage and modernize the clients` application portfolio. It will be used to showcase solutions and practices to existing customers as well as prospects.
On the partnership, Stephen Kelly, CEO, Micro Focus said, "We are pleased that L&T Infotech has selected the Micro Focus platform suite as one of its core enablers for modernization and migration services. The Micro Focus platform provides best-in-class functionality for application transformation while enabling market leaders like L&T Infotech to create unique accelerators that address CIOs` top priorities."
The partnership was signed in Mumbai, by Abhay Chitnis, Head of Technology, L&T Infotech and in London by Nick Bray, Chief Financial Officer, Micro Focus. This partnership may help to expedite the delivery of services from L&T and provide innovative solutions to their customers.
Sudip Banerjee, Chief Executive Officer, L&T Infotech said, "Following an extensive evaluation, we decided to partner with Micro Focus. It was clear that the Micro Focus migration and modernization platform provided a very low-risk, cost-effective and rapid deployment solution, giving dramatic ROI (Return on Investment) to our customers.
