Mumbai, Mar 19, 2009:Business Objects veteran Sanjay Deshmukh, has been appointed as VP (business user) for SAP Indian subcontinent. As VP, Deshmukh will be responsible for driving strategy, business development, and sales of integrated solutions for the business user. This will comprise of BI solutions from SAP Business Objects, as well as enterprise information management and performance optimization applications.

Sanjay has been with SAP BusinessObjects, for the past 8 years. With a career spanning 14 years, Sanjay has held key positions in renowned database software and business intelligence firms, in the industry prior to joining SAP BusinessObjects. In his initial years, Sanjay was associated with Informix which was later acquired by IBM and Tata Unisys.
