Siliconindia job fair on November 14 for senior techies
Bangalore: Siliconindia is organizing a job fair for senior techies on November 14 at HAL Convention centre, next to HAL Police Station, Old Airport Road, Bangalore from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
Since, Indian IT companies have started recovering from the slowdown phase and recorded an unmatched growth in the first quarter (Q1) of financial year (FY) 2009-10; it would be a great opportunity for senior techies to find appropriate jobs in the current situation.
The siliconindia job fair on November 14, 2009 will bring together recruiters, HR Managers and people who are looking for the right company and the right candidate. Accenture, Rediff.com, Aricent, TeleDNA, L & T, Aryaka, Keynote, Kodiak Networks, Sumtotal, Global Logic, OnMobile and Encora are a few of the companies that are hiring. Although entry to the event is free, anyone cannot walk in to the event. Interested candidates can register with siliconindia, and submit their resumes. If the siliconindia evaluation team finds that you have the right qualification which the recruiting companies are looking, you will be invited to attend the job fair.
In our previous job fairs, several companies gave written tests at the job fair; some even conducted final interviews and made on the spot offers. Attending companies see the resumes of all attendees before the event, and may contact potential candidates to set up a time for interaction/interview at the job fair. Please go through the job description, which are listed with attending company`s logos. For instance, Rediff.com is looking for senior software engineers whose main responsibility would be to develop and maintain software that provides behind-the-scenes functionality for all Rediff.com products. Other job positions include, circle account manager, sales consultant, regional account manager, and software engineer - J2EE, among others.
The event is strictly for techies with more than 2 years of experience.
Siliconindia is a 12-year old media firm. The business and technology magazine published from Fremont, California, covers business, technology and entrepreneurship. Our current circulation exceeds 70,000 and our readership builds from CIOs, CTOs, CEOs and market influencers like fund capitalists, technology adopters and analysts.
