Wipro Infotech has announced the launch of its Technology Innovation Hub - Sangam. In order to launc this integrated Center of Excellence, Wipro has joined hands with IBM, Microsoft, SAS, Sun Microsystems and Teradata. The new innovation hub will work across technologies to develop innovative IT solutions. Sangam is located in Wipro`s Electronic City campus at Bangalore and will also allow customers to have a view of the solutions developed there.

Formally inaugurated by Ravinder Jain, chief information officer, Aircel (one of Wipro`s largest customers), the telecom company stated that could now evaluate technology solutions, get a comprehensive view of solutions and deploy global best practices and tools for their customers.

The Technology Innovation Hub is intended to facilitate the development of technology solutions with its partnerships and provide business value through technical and process excellence. The integrated environment helps reduce total time for development, resulting in faster time to market and on-time response to business needs. The centre will evaluate emerging tools and technologies and also develop customer specific solutions.
