Xerox India announces two iGen3 installations
Xerox India, a part of Xerox global a document solutions, services and systems provider has announced the installation of two Xerox iGen3 Digital Production Presses at Repro India, an integrated print solution service provider based in Mumbai and Friends Digital Color Solutions, a printing solution provider based in New Delhi. With this, Xerox India has achieved its fourth Xerox iGen3 installation.
The Xerox iGen3 digital production press is the result of a $1 billion global research and development investment and is based on more than 400 patents worldwide. With a speed of 6600 4/0 A4 full process color impressions per hour (11
0 4/0 impressions per minute), it facilitates short-run printing, on-demand printing and personalized communication. The Xerox iGen3 prints on industrys maximum sheet size of 14.33x22.5, on up to 350 gsm paper and on multiple substrates including uncoated, coated, textured, rough paper and synthetic media.
Both Repro India and Friends digital color solutions expect to use the Xerox iGen3 digital press to increase its document management handling, grow print volumes, provide its customers with superior color capabilities, new variable printing solutions and create new business opportunities by offering next-generation print services for its customers.
Xerox Indias partnership with Repro India and Friends digital color solutions include training and ongoing business development with the help of Xeroxs ProfitAccelerator digital business resources. The ProfitAccelerator portfolio has more than 60 tools designed to show commercial printers how to grow their digital printing business.
